Talking about food, we've came across Fusion, Western, Chinese, Thai...etc. I personally think one of the best food are those from the old-looking shops back in some small towns. Some of it are inherited by 2nd or 3rd generations and of course the recipes remain a "mystery" to us. Perhaps "mysterious" food taste better!
In this particular shop, I love their kaya puff. Trays after trays, customers after customers....now you see it, now you don't! I hope the following generations still continue the hardwork of its predecessors and my future generations can still be able to taste it.

@ 59 ~ Civet Coffee
Most of us are well aware of Mocha, Cappucino and Expresso. But lately, the Southeast Asian archipelago is the world's main producer of Civet Coffee (known as Kopi Luwak in Malay or Indonesian language). It is a coffee brewed with beans plucked from the dung of the furry, weasel-like creatures known as Luwak or the Civet Cat!
The ripe coffee berries (usually Arabica) are eaten by the Civet Cat. The digestive juices & enzymes will cause a reduction in the bitterness of the bean. The end product, after a good wash and light roasting, lacks the bitterness of ordinary coffee and has a unique, soft flavour.
Single cup of Civet Coffee have been known to sell for almost $100 in London and 850 Baht in Thailand. Almost equivalent to RM85 in Malaysia. It is the prima donna & the Rolls Royce of coffee!
I've tasted it recently with a friend in Bangkok.
It is light, mild and non-bitter in taste. Judging from the price, of course we slowly take it, sip by sip. We basically had a great time, chatting casually, sharing some light jokes and some serious thoughts as well. Plus a rainy evening really helps create the whole experience of drinking this coffee.
Life is short. It is good to try something new if we have a chance to do so.

@ 58 ~ Old Means Gold
Wow, I spotted this in one of the cafe in PJ.
You have no idea how hard it is to find such a traditional wooden door with the traditional locking mechanism as well!!
When we used to watch those chinese kung-fu movie way back, this is what we saw.
Be it fashion, hairstyles or future trends, sometimes we did look back and recycled those conventional designs which looks artistic and it is still relevant now.
Kind of reminiscing the old times....
@ 57 ~ Precious Little Moment
Nothing can compare a sweet little time with the little one watching an animated movie together. While my 2 year old was sitting on my lap, I was enjoying the smell of his hair!
It smells a little "naughty", "cute" and smelly! I just can't explain it. Kind of like he threw away any other pillow that doesn't fill with his kind of smell.
I know I'll miss this moment when he grew up....
Life is Good...anyway...

@ 56 ~ Shelves of Knowledge
Part of a small pleasure is owning a mini-library in the house. Plus the joy of scribbling our own notes upon reading. Or highlighting sentences that we want to remember. Some books are so inspiring that I read it 2 or 3 times. Books are one of my best companion when I'm mentally alone.
It is awesome to see 26 alphabets forming thousands of words and countless knowlegde for us to learn. The real learning begin in life, not school.
In school, we learn lessons and are given tests.
In life, we are tested then it taught us a lesson!
Let us keep growing...

@ 55 ~ Endless Dreams
What if you are blessed with tonnes of treasures that make you run out of idea on how to spend it?
What if you are granted a chance to live like a King for a month, what would you do?
This is something exciting to think about.
As for me...
- I'll invite lots of people to stay in the palace and let them enjoy the life of a King as well. Perhaps 100 old couples, 100 single mums, 100 catastrophic victims and 1000 children! Finally on the last 3 days, I would like to invite my family to stay and hire great chefs from all over the world to cook all kinds of cuisines that we do not know of, for us to try and try and try...!
- I would invite all scientists around the world to invent a time machine for me as soon as possible to bring me back to witness all great historical moments, places and people. Interesting events such as wars, independence day, paleolithic era, dinasour's ruling the earth and the origins of Shaolin kungfu, very much capture my curiosities!! I would love to be a friend to Li Ka-Shing, Warren Buffett, Donald Trump and Richard Branson especially when they were in their 15's or 20's and see how mess up their life is! Hmm....I miss out Lady Gaga!!
- Definitely, I would test my hormone response through flying a real fighter jet for a day!!
- It will be great that I can act in one of the Hollywood movie....main actor of course! I don't mind acting as James Bond... hahahah...!!!
- I want to be a radio DJ for 3 days! A day for interviewing people, another day for talking nonsense and the final day for being interviewed! What a great feeling...
- Publishing my 2 blogs as books will surely give me a passionate oomph to carry on...enriching people's life!
- I'm going to book tickets from Virgin Galactic, bringing my whole family for space travel! I would love to experience zero-gravity for a day....at least forgetting my weight count so that I can eat 5 buffets in the space!
- Shooting from a real gun sounds good too. Plus riding a horse, wearing a hat, pretending to be a Cowboy....with style of course! The best is let me try at least 10 different types of gun and throw a grenade as well! Kaboom! Awwwweeesome!!
- I would organise a gathering for all the billionaires in the world to listen to their vision and plans of how are they going to make full use of their money when they are gone! This would be really enriching and a mind-opener to think big....real big!
- Finally, I'll buy an Aladdin lamp and tell Genie to make me a King for my whole life. Of course this To-Do and To-Dream lists will be endless then!!!
All of us has a little child in us. We hope to bring it out more often.
Life is great after all...

@ 54 ~ Game of Hope
It is so wonderful to watch people playing the game of Hope in arcade centre.
I didn't play even once. But I love observing people keep on adding coins to collect a HOPE ...
It is not so much of collecting sweets but the excitement of chasing after a REWARD that seems to be so "close" each time....
That is the enjoyment of "Stress"!
Or the stress of "Enjoyment"!

@ 53 ~ Awesome Tree Arches!
They don't have eyes and yet they can "see".
They don't have nerve and yet they can "feel".
I don't really know how this awesome trees grow vertically and eventually making a curve down towards the lake! That's the power of nature and force.
Surely it is the most beautiful "arch" that I've ever seen.

@ 52 ~ The Joy of Drinking from a Transparent Mug
I love to drink from a transparent glass mug. It makes me feel fresh, pure and alive!
As for cold drinks, I love it when I'm drinking from a stainless steel mug coz it puts the extra-cold factor in. Same goes to enjoying my Cendol at the road side. I love it when they serve in stainless steel bowl. It looks chilling and really "cold" especially in a sunny day!
This is what is in the transparent mug. Sweet, sour and salty.....
What a great stuff...

@ 51 ~ The Iconic YOU
What if you represent the whole world?
What if you are the global icon?
What if everyone knows you?
Then whatever you Think, Speak & Act will carry the weight of ...
Abundance vs. Scarcity or ...
Prosperity vs. Stagnation

@ 50 ~ Blog's 50th Anniversary
Blogging about my blogs huh...what a way to talk about it...
Well, this is to celebrate the 50th blog posts achieved in Naive-Lens since it was created.
Not forgetting the Thoughts & Talks too...
Nothing to brag about, just a sense of satisfaction gained through writing and expressing thoughts and observations....
It is great to explore and share part of our life to others...
Life goes on and the 2 blogs go on too.....
@ 49 ~ Chance, Coincident, Luck?
2 cars side by side....with the same alphabet but a slight difference in number arrangement.
What a coincidence! There are moments that things happened when we least plan it and it doesn't happen when we plan it from top to toe...
Life is full of similarities and differences.
Sometimes it is called the Luck and at times, it is called the Challenges.
We just got to know it is coming and ride on with it...

@ 48 ~ Snailing Up
"Snail-Snail on the way,
Climb until the very next day!"
This little fella was climbing Slow & Steady, enjoying the surroundings with extraordinary patience...
Without knowing what is in front, it just keep going up.....Up Up all the way!
Way to go champ!

@ 47 ~ Wrist-Free For A Day
A day without wearing a watch...
Nothing wrapping around my wrist, enjoying a bit of freedom for my left hand.
Honestly, I don't like wearing anything that tie me up! Including ring or neck tie or whatever....
Why don't you try it....just for a day?
Don't wear any ear rings, bracelets, necklace or a watch!!!
It feels different and it feels good!

@ 46 ~ Bicycle from the Dinosour Era
Guess how old this bicycle is? At least 20 - 25 years!
I used to ride this kind of bicycle during the 80s ... going to morning market, grocery shopping and showing off in front of girls while letting go both of my hands!
I still remember that I felt down 3 times due to that stupid act.
I was pretty naive back then...
@ 45 ~ Number is King
Hmm...quite surprising to see so many people are willing to spend a fortune buying nice plate number.
I guess feeling good and feeling unique is the ultimation!!!
@ 44 ~ Mobile-Food-Gadget
I've spotted this awesome-looking-gadgetry-hawker in Taiping.
Not only his motorbike is equipped with ....hmmm...everything, but I'm truly surprised to see the man adding charcoal through a small entrance at the side of the stainless steel compartment. No wonder the laksa soup is hot all the time!
It is impossible seeing this in KL and moreover the laksa only costs RM2.00.
In terms of making full use of the available space, I'll have to give this man a standing ovation!

@ 43 ~ Nose "Runaway"
What a day... I'm down with flu and a bit of soar throat, almost crossing the line of fever.
I think the last time that I "collapsed" was.....perhaps years ago?
Don't worry, definitely not Bird Flu.
How do I know? Coz I'm not a Bird!!!
Sometimes it is wonderful to got sick coz that's the only way we slow down.
Good to rest anyway...
