When a company, an organisation or someone are famous, they will surely be duplicated. The question is either originally, artificially or "piratically"!!! Well sometimes pirated copies help popularize the original version more than what the original marketing department does.
It is an awesome experience seeing a brand becoming a street language that we use to communicate daily. For instance, people talks about;
- "Why don't you Google it to find out more?" (less likely people says MSN it....)
- "Boss, Maggi goreng satu!" (you don't hear people says Cintan or Indomie goreng...)
- "If I need to marry that woman, I rather drink Dettol!" (why not Protex...)
- "Can you help me Xerox 2 copies?" (hmm..... what about Canon or Sharp 2 copies...)
- "Dear, you are not feeling well. You want some Milo?" (eh....Ovaltine also can right....?)
Awesome little process.......
